Our Vision

The vision of Yeniherkul is to become an internationally respected think-tank and civil society platform that contributes to the resolution of social fractures, human rights violations, and polarizations through academic knowledge and peace-oriented approaches.

Specifically for Turkey, Yeniherkul envisions a future where the social divergence deepened after July 15 is healed, where confronting past mistakes is possible, and where an inclusive climate of peace is restored. We position ourselves not as a "movement," but as a community of thought composed of free individuals.

Furthermore, our vision aims to:

  • Establish an independent space of thought where truth and conscience are expressed freely.
  • Replace belonging-based reflexes with ethical responsibility.
  • Develop social consciousness aligned with universal human, women's, and environmental rights.
  • Contribute to a public culture where the rule of law and pluralism are internalized.

Our Mission & Principles

To provide truth-based information to all segments of society to alleviate social grievances and establish lasting peace. We aim to rebuild trust between different social groups and strengthen the bonds between the state and society.

Our foundation operates in accordance with transparency, non-violence, commitment to law, and the refusal to view any person or institution as untouchable. We strive to strengthen a culture of forgiveness and coexistence rather than retribution.
