Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is New Hercules, and what purpose does it serve?
Yeni Herkul is an international think tank and civil society platform that addresses societal ruptures, human rights violations, and polarization through an academic knowledge and dialogue-oriented approach. Our main objective is to produce strategies and analyses for the re-establishment of social peace in the light of the rule of law and universal human rights values.
Does the platform have any affiliation with a political party or "movement"?
No. New Hercules positions itself as an independent community of thought composed of free individuals, beyond any political or ideological affiliation. It is not affiliated with any structure and adopts an independent stance based on individual conscience and reasoning.
What exactly will the "Hybrid Solution" you proposed change?
Changing laws alone is not enough for lasting peace; a social consensus that is also accepted by the public's conscience is essential. The Hybrid Solution aims to build an inclusive future where individuals are not stigmatized and everyone feels safe, by bringing together legal legitimacy with social conscience.
How can we trust you? Are your analyses biased?
We derive our credibility from our openness to criticism, which views no individual or institution as untouchable. All reports we publish pass through the filter of transparency and data-driven analysis. For us, what matters is not "who said it," but whether what is said is in conformity with the law, reason, and human dignity.
What exactly do you mean by "confronting the past"?
We believe that social peace is only possible by sincerely confronting mistakes. This is not just a reckoning; it is a process of sincere apology, redressing grievances, and creating a social memory and peace consciousness to prevent similar suffering from recurring.
